Love at first level!

This is by far, my favorite rpg to play at Newgrounds/Mochigames.
Fun combat, interesting creatures, tons of weapons and equipment all packed into a fairly large world. The only thing I have a problem with is the increasing difficulty of level gains further into the game.

Great

Played it all till the double headed ogre, wich i realized it was impossible to kill, since after summoning ghosts it gets ubber fast and spam meteors at a speed impossible to dodge. When i saw that was realy impossible to dodge, i remembered that running skill that i gave a damn the whole game. Since i was 35, the final lvl, i woudnt get it anymore. If i cant run, its impossible to finish this game :/, next time give skill reset function, that will solve the same weapon all game issue... like... 2 times woud be enough :(, besides that i woud have the option to get all my armor with magic defense stuff, but that woud get me like..... more 365 days to grind...? You woud argue that these items are for sell ate mochigames... that woud suck. Some monsters enter packs of trees and walls and get stuck in there, also using the sword skill that uses your element, the lighting one makes appear misterious counting numbers top left of the map screen..? when killing enemies with poison, they die twice and you get exp twice also... at least is that what shows at system messages. The Passage seal at valley of rest, when touched, shows a lot of squares. If you use a portal right when you enter a boss room that moves screen , you get to village with the camera moved, and you get stuck in that situation. If you die by poison at village (ridiculous but happened since there is no good soul to heal you arround there) the portal you made at center of villag makes you go to ... the village... shoudnt it go to the location i used the portal scroll just before dyeing? better, shoud the hero not die at village? I confess i woud give 10 if i was to finish it, even with all problems people already identified, but when I realized i woudn't, it gave me the feeling that all my grinding was kinda... meaningless..?
If i was to ask somenthing to change, please turn off that ogre turbo meteors so i coud finish even with my skills :/

Good but could be better

The fighting is always very one sided(either it's very easy or impossable) and the composition system is either broken or it's just very poorly explained within the game, I'd love to actually use some of my larger crystals so I can get them out of my inventory but it seems like no combination at all works(yes i've tried using the lvl2 crystals with an item that already has a lvl1 enchantment and tried using soul gems and even holy gems...no dice). Also I don't understand the incumbrance system, it doesn't matter how much weight you can carry you still only get three pages worth of items in your inventory. Other then that this game has alot of promise.

I've never been so torn with a game.

This game tries so hard to make me want to love it. I so desperately want to love it back, but I just can't. The monsters are just too damn hard. At one point I only had around 340 hp or so and some of the monsters I ran in to have done 500+ damage. I'm only in chapter two and doing fetch quests for towns people and I'm getting my ass handed to me. So after leveling up a few times and I put everything into defence and hp. Then as I tried to do the mission again, two enemies did 250+ damage simultaneously and I'm dead again.

I've seen some people complain that taking away exp and gold makes it too hard, but I disagree. There need to be some punishment for dying instead of a game over. So it fine with me.

I'm sure I could just grind on weaker enemies until I'm strong enough to beat the tougher baddies, but I would rather just play another game. Mostly because I know once I push through and become strong enough to kill them, even more powerful ones are just around the corner. And I just don't have the patience for that. I guess I could also just run past the harder enemies and just try to finish the quests, but that`s no fun and I doubt that`s how the game was ment to be played.

The game is clearly well made by very talented people that know what they`re doing. It looks awesome and plays great (although there was one time when I somehow duplicated my sword, but that`s no biggie). And as you can tell by my score I liked the game. This could easily have been one of my favorite game in a long time. If the enemy difficulty curve had been smoother things would be different. But as it stands, the game is too frustrating for me to play.

Buggy.

Glitch where the monster is "stuck" in the mountains or any sort of terrain. I have already restarted multiple boss fights just because ONEEEEEEE monster is caught and can't move. and i can't hit it. Still, a good game. If you're planning on making money from this, make it flawless. I mean, at least not so glitchy.
