Reviews for "Wrath of Anubis 2"

great

you deserved this 8 but why not a 10? Let me explain: You can't retsart the level. and the levels some levels are too hard.

Canadian-Jeff responds:

You must be thinking of something else, but R will restart the current level.

HOLI sh-

man is this game hard when i was on the 1st lvl i was like "die u stuiped mummies die!" but they just kept coming and coming...good game tho just needs a few adjustments.

I love how everyone says how hard the game is

The truth is, I found it a bit relaxing, and not all that hard, at least compared to games like "I Wanna Be The Guy" For the average player though, they might have quite a bit of trouble, what with jumping over mummies only to get and arrow to the face, and whatnot. I would recommend putting in an easy normal and hard mode for the different challenges.

one more control

very difficult. you should add that you can trigger a little slow-mo by pressing Enter

Not quite as good as the original

I didn't find the controls in the first one to be problematic, but it's nice that you gave the option to customize controls to players. The graphics are essentially the same as the first, which is fine. But some of the gameplay elements and/or controls seem to be slight downgrades:

1) Mummies now respawn out of sarcophagi after being destroyed. Usually these sarcophagi are placed in corridors with low ceilings and other tight spots to artifically increase difficulty.

2) Bats are no longer able to be destroyed by jumping on their backs. (If I'm incorrect about this, and it's just the bats in the first area that are like this, then the sprite design of the "deadly" bats needs to be made more distinct; for example, make them enshrouded in gas.)

3) Double-jumping seems extremely temperamental.

I enjoyed the first game a great deal, but these changes make me very disinterested in the sequel.

Canadian-Jeff responds:

2) Spiked bats are blue to distinguish them from regular bats. I haven't encountered a glitch about this but if it's not showing up right for you, please let me know.
