Reviews for "Wrath of Anubis 2"

I know it is supposed to be hard..

I know it is supposed to be hard, and I love challenging games like this, but the difficulty on this game just made me quit around level 5 or 6. Maybe it's great for someone real hardcore, for me it just got annoying spending a lot of time reaching nowhere, so I quit, sorry.

Another problem is the timing and pacing of the game, sometimes I had to do insane control inputs just to get somewhere without dying, and in the same level I had to wait like, one minute (or more), just so that every hazard would be in the correct position so I wouldn't get killed. It really kills the pacing of the game, especially right at the start of a level (where you must have died before).

The rest was just sweet and great, just like the first one, one of the best. Good job.

Because I can!

The game has the right difficulty, people just complain if they can't win in a few tries.

1: Traps are meant to kill grave robbers, they shouldn't be predictable! As for the math to the traps, they have a pattern, just the pattern in this game is long enough that its difficult to calculate.

2: Controls are fine, the game is suposed to have simple controls (we're not running a big budget system game). If you think wall jumping on this game is hard, play the Metroid games for the GBA (its a hidden ability that requires perfect timing to exicute) you'll learn that it just takes practice.

So everyone who wants to say this is a bad game, suck it up and get better at it!

Yep, quite hard

I liked the graphics and the sounds were good and all, but the main flaw with this is that it is so freaking hard. One blast from anything kills you. Not to mention killing the mummies is entirely pointless as they immediately respawn sometimes right where you killed them. The wall jumping was hard too. I am of course complaining too much and should praise this game for its original design and things like that. It defintley had the feeling and atmosphere of a classic Indiana Jones scenario and overall creative.

I liked the retro theme

Great concept, i love the retro feel to this. The retro music gives it that old school vibe. The control settings are very easy to remember. The gameplay itself is fantastic. The levels were a bit hard, I would of liked to see different level selections to choose from. The theme is great, I love how the character is in a tomb looking for treasure, reminds me of indiana jones. The enemys are classic. I would of liked for the main character to have some sort of weapon to fight back with.
Overall great game, keep them coming!

8-Bit = Awesome

Now, I'm a real sucker when it comes to retro style games, the art style was great and the music fit it perfectly. BUT, the game is a little unforgiving on the difficulty, it's really hard. And I know the warning says HARD, but it should be VERY HARD, but none the less, it's a great game and thank you for making it.
