Not much variation...and there is no option to save.
If you close down and continue later on you start on the level you left but 2 experience lvls lower :s

game saves your state each level.
you can continue the level you left too - just choose it in level-selection screen, then say 'yes' to popup that will ask you to load the save.

As much as i Like this game
There is a MAJOR bug in this game that kills it for me. You CANNOT get to level 15 without the game locking up with a dtxt error popup on your screen within one of your menu's. Also you will lose all progress made up to that point, so for me I cant finish Campaign 2 at all.
Not only that but my save gets corrupted and I end up back at level 13 if I attempt to retry it. I can get all the way to the red enemies(yellow key) before I crash out. I tried this atleast 5 times before realizing what the issue was.
I dont know if I even want to continue, but Im so close to beating that. My mech has2 lvl 11 gun turrets, 2 100 repair plates and 2 150+ health plates. Also for some odd readon the Item store glitches up as well and no items for sale happens.
So until this gets fixed Im giving you a 5.

the weapons that u can use in this game are farrrrr too weak. it desperatly needs a stronger version of the intial 3 guns. im not down rating this because of its unorginality. im downrating it because robokill did what this game did just alot better. either copy it alot more or take it in a totally new direction. also it seems to me that there was really no reason to make a second redstorm. the two games are nearly identical. i truly would like to see a third just not on mochi cuz paying real world money on a flash game is really dumb and also more your own ideas into it.
medals don't work
I like the game, and would have rated it higher, but...
1) None of the medals work.
2) You don't get to keep your exp from playing survival mode.
3) All the pay to play premium crap (like for the extra mechs or mech features).
