Reviews for "Cursed Treasure"

cant play

Game won't pass the "choose profile screen" says all profiles are level 999 go to lick wont start up. I like the title screen so ill give it a 7 for now

Fun, but has balance issues.

Honestly if you're just going to play this game through it's great. The ninja's can be annoying but you learn to compensate having a reasonable end of the line force while having something to hit them right off the bat to run out their invisible time. Great execution though for the most part, loved the towers and the upgrade system.

Only real problem is, if you want to get brilliant on every setting it's just not a player friendly enviroment. Some of the boss ninja's move so fast that even if you hit them right off the bat, it's impossible to kill them because they get to the gems before becoming visable. The only possible solution is to set up towers so they all hit the first unit coming out at the same instant, 1 hit KO'ing it. But then this isn't plausable for facing the normal waves up until that point, or you just don't have the money to implement such a tower set up before that boss arrives.

With a little tweaking though it could have been perfect and would have scored a 9 or 10 from me.

Cool idea but...

THE NINJAS ARE TOO STRONG THEY SUCK!

great game but with a great problem

The game is very good in almost everything.

The song and SE are good to hear, the graphics are yet better and the game play is just awesome(and i don't even like TD games).

Before i cloud give this a 10/10 but it have a great problem:

SPOILER:

the game just have three really hard enemies and for each one i have one strategy:

priest: in later levels, if you aren't prepared they can leave very easy, since they cure the most part of the damage done, so you will need of fast and strong towers. Dens are perfect for this especially the orcish den, chilling crypt and beholder temple can help. Both meteor and frenzy are good to champions

ninja: they are easier than the people think, even they can't be target when invisible they can get damage so burning temple help a lot, but chiling crypts are your best option, since if it make a ninja run away, they will become visible "sooner", ballista dens help also.Meteor is perfet to boss.

assasin: this is the enemy who let the game fun, even with my strategy they are very hard to kill. Since they can dodge 50% of the atacks you need fast towers and the beholder temple is the perfet example, also ghost crypts and orcish dens are good.champion or not frenzy is almost always needed.

but since you changed assasin's dancing blade, the game lost the only fun thing that keeped me playing, so less 3 points for this.

Enjoyable time killer but has some heavy flaws.

The difference between a not upgraded tower and an upgraded one is so huge (like 30 damage to 300 damage) that building new towers actually isn't helpful. That said building multiple of the same type of tower shouldn't cost progressively more expensive since they are not helpful, money consuming, and take exp away from the already existing towers.

The unit that becomes invisible upon being hit once is the only reason to put towers near your gems, which is kind of unfair. Often by the time the invisibility wears off (especially the huge one) there is no way to prevent them from at least touching your gems. Getting perfect is thus somewhat impossible.

Also another problem is the unit that apparently has evasion AND moves quickly, as things say "miss" when it gets hit. Now normally, the solution would be to have more towers, oh wait, this game discourages that and makes multiple towers incredibly ineffective and work against you. As such units with evasion should probably be removed.

I want to give this game a higher score, I really do, but it has some unfair mechanics, probably meant to be challenging, but are just unfair and annoying.
