Reviews for "SporeCraft"

Alright

It was Okay, I see where you were inspired but it seems impossible to go very far when the other cells attack you 20 seconds into the game, and not only one army but just about everyone overpowers you, It's just impossible for me

Nope...

It's a nice game, but why make it a cell game, or at the very least, use words that make sense to the average person (cell pool? (mitosis or something like that)?WTF?)

No Wikipedia article on "cell pool" though, because I made it up.

Glitch-tastic

Like most ideas out there, i loved the concept but hated the execution. It was glitchy, extremely so. Even with the glitches, i find it amazing that people find this game hard though, because it was ridiculously easy. All you need is to spend a bunch of DNA on a single cell then multiply it for a never ending elite force... The combat features (defense/attack types, speeds, etc.) were nice but completely useless in that spamming high strength and hp took care of any defense type. Good try, and keep it up. This game can easily turn into a winner with enough fixing.

ya...

i have yet to play warcraft, but i have played countless hours of spore, and i couldnt get the hang of this game.

i have given you the 5/10 because even if i couldnt really figure out how to play the music was still good.

try having the totorial be the first thing that happens when you start a new game, other then that... decent concept, and dont have it too pixalated.

Serious tutorial problems...

Ok I started the tutorial and was going along fine with the intention of giving this game a ten, when suddenly for no apparent reason eight enemy cells came out of no-where and killed my entire species without me even getting to any section in the tutorial about attacking. I restarted the game and quickly rushed through the the tutorial up to the I was on, thinking I would just have to be quicker to get to the attacking bit. Once again I got attacked before I had even reached anything talking about attacking. I managed to survive with just my cell pool left by placing some penicillin into the game, which killed the final invader. I built a new cell and attempted to continue the tutorial, at which point several more attackers appeared with ranged weapons. At that point, I just stopped playing. So I think there could be improvements, but the main idea of the game was good.

Nemo responds:

I've fixed the bug that causes that, but the change needs to get approved before the file is switched. It should be switched sometime today, I assume. Sorry.
