Reviews for "SporeCraft"

Very thought out, Takes time to learn

It's a good game, but it could be a lot more simple...

Bugs:
Unresponsive units at times. Unit will move but will stop after 3 seconds.
^Above issue also can prevent mitosis, which sucks if you have a "super unit" that will cancel mitosis as soon as it starts.

Strategy:
What I like to do is start by producing 4 extra cell pools. This allows you to mass produce crappy units and suicide them against the opponent. Doing this gives you a ton of DNA. Or if you're lucky you'll just kill them with crappy units.

Nemo responds:

You know... that's a strategy I've never thought of. I'll try to figure out what's up with the bug you mentioned. Of all the beta testing I did, that never came up. Hmm... Thanks for the review!

great concept

well its a pretty fun game but thr r definetly a few things you could fix
1. tutorial. its reall hard to tell what is going on at the start of the game so that might help some ppl actually try the game
2. command butons. more descriptions around command buttons so we can tell what they do even if we cant click them
3.multiplayer. i know its kinda a big step but it will be amazing
o and im glad one of the authors is finally responding, atleast we know we are being heard

Nemo responds:

Do you mean to change something about the tutorial or to put one in? If you click "The Basics" from the main menu there is a tutorial. As for the buttons, I'll see what I can do to make them less cryptic.

Multiplayer, at least for this game... ain't gonna happen :)

Thanks for the review!

This game is good for a internet game...

The game is good but if you count it as one of you know Warcraft 3 and StarCraft then the game is not that good...

back to the drawing board!

Well I haven't read through all the reviews, but here are some glitches that I found

The screen is a tad too large for Firefox's browser on default settings.

For some reason, my cells randomly spawned at the top of the map continuously and at no cost, I have over 230 cells in the first 30 seconds of gameplay and counting. This allowed me to beat everything very easily very fast, but the gameplay slowed down soooo much, it was unplayable. As I write this, I now have over 500 cells.

Potential for a fun and great game is there, but at this point, I cannot even play it.

Great concept

I liked the idea behind this, and it was really simple to play and kept me entertained for an hour.
