Not bad but
controls were a little off
i didnt find the game "hard" for hard sakes, it was hard because everytime i went to shoot fast id just end up switching to the wrong weapon and getting mobbed because i can aim in 3 directions while not jumping where enemies can jump on an angle

This was really good! It was kinda like cave story though :p. I wish it was longer and had more unlockable stuff after the machine gun....

Although it was largely and obviously inspired greatly from Cave Story, this game never the less, was a good one.
Space cave story
It's fun because i just finished playing cave story on the laptop, came to the desktop, entered newgrounds and bam!, space cave story.
I love cave story, and the this I love the most is the weapons upgrade system, which you didn't included.
What I've been waiting for ...
This is exactly the type of game that I've been waiting for. It's fun and it remains me of yesteryear. Excellent job!
