Good game, nice tribute.
First of all, to everyone bitching and moaning about the artist stealing the idea or whatever: Shut the fuck up. Yes, it plays just like Cave Story. So what? Enjoy the game for what it is, and stop whining about foul play. It's a fucking flash game, for crying out loud.
Secondly, I enjoyed playing quite a bit, though I'm playing through again to get this machine gun I apparently missed.

its a good game but the controls feel left handed cause i need to job with X and fire with c...i would love if i can use A,S,W, and D. its a good game

Complaints:
Machine gun is way too easy to find.
Other doors do do anything... was waiting for an upgrade or something to blast the metal crates.
Very short- felt like a preview for something nice
Story is kinda iffy...
On the other hand, you have the makings of a great game. Add a sequel with more in depth and more kinds of enemies, weapons, heck, i love the concept... just lacks a little bit more. Goojab! looking forward to the next installment.
