i read most of the bad reviews...
and wanted to address the issue that people are saying your flash was an overused topic. I just don't see how that should be a point for someone to trash-talk. How many times do people keep making stick figure fight cartoons or nintendo and sonic parodies on this site?!? Just because someone has a different take on a concept or even someone who flat out reanimates something they thought could be better doesn't make them unoriginal or not worth the effort. Jeeze, people just like to trash something when they don't like it and go way to far with the criticism just so they can sound important or credible. Grow up people!
And speaking the effort, here's my two cents on your flash specifically. I liked the mood. You did a good job displaying that. I don't see quite how this was a year's worth of work however...at least not a solid year's worth. But that's okay. I'd like to have seen some backgrounds, as others have said, that were drawn by you. But other than that. It's a decent flick. You should be proud of your work...because its yours. If you weren't proud of it, or take people's opinions to heart...then that should just drive you to make something better by your own standards...I'm done.
I suppose this could have been good.
I didn't realize I was supposed to take this seriously. When you had that intro thing of Larry telling me to get the fuck out if I was easily offended, I was just sitting there the whole time, waiting for the punchline. I honestly thought this was supposed to be a comedy the whole time, which of course gets me in a different mindset and makes me think "huh, I guess this overuse of metaphors in his speech is supposed to be a parody of that type of gruff voiced character". So I'm not saying your flash animation was crap, I'm just saying that the intro really set a different kind of mood for this, so I was looking at it the wrong way the whole time. And if you actually didn't intend for that, if you actually thought somebody would honestly hear something like "If strong language offends you, get the fuck out" and think to themselves "Woah, this is gonna be some deep shit!", then that's just a little insane. Just sayin' though, if you want people to come into this with the mindset that it's a serious flash animation, nix the intro.
voice didnt make sence
the guy sounded like a criminal instead of a lawyer, maybe the story should of been about the criminal and how he shouldnt have been one. anyways it was pretty boring and bland, it isnt my type of flash but i stil think it was pretty bland
