Reviews for "The Heart and the Hand p2"

I liked it and all but...

I love the simple voice acting, the drawing style, and even the story. But... The music choice was truly off-putting. It was rather grating to see the entire 13 minute movie with that going on, you know?

Bobert-Rob responds:

Well, I'm sorry it didn't do the trick for you. I tried, anyhow.

Very nice

To start I'll get some of the issues I had out of the way. The background music used in this really didn't do a good job fitting in to the mood you set up for the story. There were some parts where it sort of worked, but I really think if you were going to use the same sort of rendition of the song throughout that you should of spent a little more time making music that didn't get annoying after a while, no offense.

And it may be due to the animation being a bit dated but the graphics seemed sloppier than usual. There were times where it felt a bit too unorganized for my tastes and it sort of made it hard to follow what was going on.

Onto the positives; the story and set-up were really good. You did a good job setting up contrasting character types in such an original and charming way. I love how Glenn just doesn't get it even when Annie puts what she wants right in front of him. Also, the way the story progressed felt natural and necessary; it was clear that Annie was getting increasingly irritated with trying to coax Glenn, which helped the story move along even further without getting too repetitive.

In the end the story made me really want to enjoy this, but the gripes prevented me from doing so to the fullest. I hope to see more creativity like this from you soon. :D

Bobert-Rob responds:

Well, I'm glad you enjoyed what you did! I personally have no gripes with the music, but I know a lot of people disagree with me there. I guess I've just gotten too used to it or something. Oh well, can't win em' all. Thanks for watching, and for the compliments!

Cool, very funny

nice stuff to pass the weekend, better than the part one

Thats so sweet!

Thats so cleaver and sweet! Really touching.

Vury Vury Nice

That tickled my fancy, I think you only need to focus on improving your art, not saying it's bad, but there's not much else to critisise. Just learn to draw people a tad more realistic! Well done though cheese tits.

Bobert-Rob responds:

Hah, well thanks. I did start this back when I finished half beard, so the style is a little dated. But I had to release it regardless. I HAD TO! And I didn't want to spend another year completely redoing it, you understand. But I'm glad you enjoyed what you did from it!
