Reviews for "The Heart and the Hand p2"

WHOA! She can move fast!

What I noticed first was the effects with the guy's green eyes googling about after she dressed him at lightning speed (I wonder what she saw while doing that), and the music fit the 'mood' too. But the eyes were VERY awesome.

I was looking forward to this, and you did not disappoint! I don't know weather the end was a...happy one? The guy just left the girl standing there. Broke. I think I felt the same way as the girl: confused.

All-in-all: WFTH. (WIN for the HEART!)

Bobert-Rob responds:

Well thanks man, I'm glad you enjoyed what I did there! What with the eyes and everything, being all crazy. Thanks for watchun!

Your best most sophisticated work yet!

What can i say man you've just topped all your other works.

Brilliant animation, nice accompanying soundtrack and cute story.

Well, it's about damn time this came out. I remember you wanted it to come out last year so bad. I'm glad you decided to wait until this year though because I can tell you thought some of the things through after the initial creation.
I loved the textures in it and most of the animation.
However, I felt the first half was a lot stronger than the second half. Even though you did leave it until this year, I felt some of the scenes in the second half appeared rushed. Some of the restaurant scenes seemed unfinished and sloppy. I felt the frustration of Annie though throughout the scene, so your story telling did not fall flat despite the animation.
And finally, I felt as though the ending didn't fit. I didn't see any morals or any prominent outcome for the characters besides Annie being confused and Glenn running away like a crazy person. I felt the ending broke from their characters and left me asking myself, "What? That's the ending?"
Annie didn't seem happy at all in the end making the kissing scene almost unimportant and contradictory to the entire movie. I was expecting a whimsical ending where Glenn somehow makes up for all of his shenanigans at the restaurant and Annie forgives him, but I was left with what seemed like an unfinished story.
Contrary to everyone else's reviews, most of the music wasn't that bad. I really enjoyed the music in the credits. And in some scenes, the dissonance in the music added to the frustration Annie was feeling.
Overall, I'm glad that you finally released this because it was definitely a long time in the making.

Bobert-Rob responds:

Well, I can assure you the last half wasn't actually rushed, but I suppose I can understand you feeling that way. It was a pretty complicated ending, what with all those crowd shots and all. I'm sorry you felt betrayed by the lack of a moral, really... but I wanted the ending to be more ironic than moral heavy. I mean, she went through all that and all she had to do was cater to what he wanted in the first place. Become a part of his world a bit, you know? That's really the only message I was trying to get across. There are definitely more parts to this story (hence the potential for it to be a series), but who knows if I'll ever be able to fully tell it or not.
I'm glad you enjoyed the music though! You and Oney are probably the only ones who don't outright hate it, hah. I know I enjoy it, mostly the second half. Thanks for watching!

Excellent

Beautiful art and animation, the only thing I didn't like was how he appeared to be 4 years old but that's just a taste thing.

That a good V-day Story

10 out 10 man i love the clip of the art
