Absolutely fantastic.
This is a great piece of work, truly deserving of front page.
The lack of sound adds to the atmosphere and accentuates the images. The pace IS slow, but never dull. The graphics were very simple, but enough to create an interesting flash. This is a great example of 'less is more'. As for the plot, it was straightforward and absorbing.
The ending was excellent, it was executed brilliantly. I'm glad the younger version seemed to move at an increased pace. The change in pace really did strengthen the idea of the flash; from old and frail, to young and healthy.
Great work man, I look forward to more of your stuff!
Kudos on the lighting
I gave you a 5 for ratings, and as tempted as I was to review this as 10... I think an 8 or 9 is fair. Very nice for a school project.
I loved the art style; the shading and lighting effects definitely made this flash. Regarding the content, I found it fresh and original. I spent the whole movie trying to predict the outcome, yet I was wrong :P
**And I'm not sure if it's just me, but I got some sound bugs (cut out several times during the fire scene). Foley was a little choppy, but as I've never animated my work, I don't really know how people typically acquire sound effects. I imagine that its not so easy.
