I'm going through the same thing too.
Except I burnt my evolved layers of skin. I couldn't hold onto the past, just had to move on. I don't need the past to remind me of who I am.
Maybe it's different, but good animation. The lengthyness of it gave it a nice touch in the style.

I really liked this little project of yours. It was a nice little chronicle of your main character, always wandering never stopping. Left me with some questions, but in a very good way. I'm not gonna try to get whatever message might be behind this, if there is one at all. All I know is that this was a beautifully done animation, and well worth the watch. Definitely Newgrounds material.
I do have a few small critiques. Mostly, it would have been nice if there was a bit more sound...perhaps the snake could hiss, or maybe the wind could howl across the desert in a few spots, specifically after the wanderer fell to the ground. But maybe there was a reason you didn't put them in. It's really the only major complaint I have.
All in all, pretty good piece of work.

but really cool, animation was nice and simple. music was great most of the time but during the fire scene, the fire noise went off and on occasionally..
overall tho i give you a 9/10 good job!
simplistic and epic
really great stuff, man, you've got some talent. it had a great feel, i like the desolation of the landscape a lot. and it looked great. i loved the bars of color making up the sky and transitioning from day to night. and the story was epic.
the sound of the fire was obnoxiously loud and poor quality, but other than that it was damn near perfect. keep making flash. it suits you.
