Great game
Where the average flash game is boring after 5min, this one got me playing for an half hour. Great game!
Where other 'pixel arcade' games tend to suffer from annoying movement controls, this one worked just fine.

Pretty excellent
Just finished the playthrough on easy, absolutely love this little gem... only reason I didn't give it a 10/10 is because I don't see much replay value after I beat it on hard. Lovin it.
Great game, I only have one complaint.
The damn fireballs in the final boss stage make it nearly impossible to get up to its head level. Makes it extremely annoying.

Possible spoiler: Fireballs can be shot. The best way to beat the boss is aim left and hold down the shoot button. Concentrate on the blasting those fireballs! They are what costs you most.
The boss's weak spot is very large, and you don't need to aim SUPER accurately. Especially if you have picked up 2 or three spread upgrades.

Suggestions for a sequel..
Blasting Agent was fun for an hour and I thoroughly enjoyed it . BUT, I see your score is kind of low, and I think I know why...
1. Add more than just 2 difficulty levels.
2.. More levels, and with more vibrant/varied backgrounds. This one was over too fast, and the backgrounds were well drawn but bland!
2. Increase # of power ups for the gun, and have the graphics of what it fires change even vastly as it powers up.
3. Awards you can choose between to create a unique feel to your character, so each time you play your fighter becomes unique, without it...why even bother replaying?
4. Add more music!
Kudos for making this game and I hope to see a second installment with a daily 1st place soon!

Hey, those are all great suggestions for a sequel, and it sounds like you want one. It will probably be some time before that happens, though. Tim and I are working on separate projects for until Feb. when we will again join forces and start discussing something new and fun.

Incredible retro game with nice upgrades in the form of prizes. Really entertaining and challenging, I wished there would be more games as good as this one !
The music fits it really nicely and the graphics, albeit a bit straining to the eye, are a great match to the general concept and gameplay.
I have one question. I gained all the prizes but the last on in hard mode. I seem to miss one enemy in the third stage that prevents me from winning the last prize, but somehow in easy mode I can achieve 100% kills easily each time, in hard mode I am always stuck at 98% kills. What could it be ?
