Reviews for "Armored Ashura 2"

...

The most amazing voice work I ever heard in all my lifetime!!!!

Hmmm...

Not a bad game, has quite a bit of potential. But there were a few blatant issues I had while playing. It was already mentioned that it is obnoxious that you are unable to bomb your way out of a tight spot.

My issue was the enemies that go off screen on the left where I am unable to aim at them early on and add to the abundant chaos of whats already going on. These enemies should either move on and not fire back after moving off screen, or there should be a way to fire in reverse so that players don't feel cheated because they get killed by an enemy they are unable to hit let alone kill.

The music was nice, and the graphics were good to look at, and enemies were cleverly designed in my opinion. And any complaints I have could be discarded if there were a way to reverse your fire or to clear the screen a limited number of times.

ya so but

it is hard as hell but i see a little improvment

It alright

The game was good & a little trick, but the music is annoying.

well...

I liked the game. Granted, it was too dificult for me and I only just barely beat the first boss, it's a decent concept. But just some things to work on...

1)If it worked so either the arrow keys or the ASWD keys controlled movement, it would be much easier to control the character. The mouse does provide some quick-reflex dodges...actually, you should have the option to toggle between methods of moving.

2)Could Ashura mode last longer than 1 hit on normal? It's extremely punishing for it to be that hard to attain to just lose it.

3)The avatar itself makes it extremely tedious to dodge shots. A long, extended body isn't very ideal for a game like this. Maybe in the next(?) game you can have it so the guy is piloting a ship or something, to make the hit box smaller.

4) You need to balance the weapons. The flame is useless without power ups, and its max charge is useless, since you must be up-close to use it. Once I got the rockets, I was afraid to change out for anything else...because the beam-type weapon was limited in use, as well.

This isn't a bad game by any means...just overly difficult. Some people might say it's horrible because of the immense dificulty, but really, its decent. No less than a 6, nor greater than an 8. Therefore, a 7 for me.
