Not hard at all!
Casual mode -----> beaten!
Expert mode------->beaten!
After reading all the reviews (yes, I actually did) I thought it would be one of those nearly impossible to beat games with a superhigh frustation level but I played it twice.......... and I won, yeah thats right I only played it two times, 1 on casual (1 credit left) & 1 on expert (0 credits left), I didn't get a perfect score with 0 deaths but I did beat the game twice.
Maybe I have great skills (but I REALLY doubt it) or all that bad reviews I have read are from people that don't have the patience to play through the entire game, it IS a hard game indeed but it is a beatable one and that makes it a good game for me because it challenges your gaming skills and makes you improve
Ok!! let's review this game!
Graphics 10/10. I really liked the style it's simple but fits the game very well.
Sound 8/10. It's ok but kind of repetitive and at some points there is so much noise from the explosions that you have to turn down the volume.
Gameplay 9/10. Simple and effective, I didn't experienced any lag and the character did just what I wanted, also I really liked the first boss battle, very original, but I didn't feel any innovation to the genre, it's the classic dodge & shoot game with powerups but maybe thats the point of the game........anyway I enjoyed it and I think it's a very GOOD game!
Programming 9/10. The game is ok, the character follows the mouse perfectly and shoots when you click the mouse. The collision it's amazing I even passed between 2 missiles with ease and dodged nearly every bullet that I could see, -1 because sometimes when you do the special attack you can die, for example when you activate the blue laser with the spikes around you, you are supposedly invincible but there were so many enemies that I ended up dying.
FINAL SCORE!!! 9/10

this game isnt nearly as hard as everyone is making it out to be...
yes. ita very difficult.
and you WILL be hammered the first few times you go through.
but once you learn the attack patterns, its a LITTLE easier.
dont get me wrong though. its still a pain in the ass.
i have thouroughly enjoyed this game, a good challenge every once in a while is great.
and the different suits make it interesting.
you get high scores from me for a rather enjoyable game.
FOR ANYONE HAVING TROUBLES HERES A FEW TIPS:
1st off, you only take damage if that white star on your back touches enemyfire.
your legs and head can touch it and your fine.
second, ditch that fire suit as soon as possible.
preferably for the blue suit.
in my oppinion thats the best, pick it up early and try to hang onto it for the rest of the game, the yellow suit is great too, depends on your taste.
also take note of any safe zones, in the corners or in dead zones where the fire doesnt hit, they are easy to find if you look.
lastly: pray and give them hell!

The only problem i have with the game is shooting the people who get behind you or sneak up on you besides from that its reasonable and people need to stop bitchin about how hard it is. i didnt really see the changes from the first one either you should have made more powers or something.
