significantly harder than the first, nothing newja
compared with the first game, this sequel REALLY hits the spot of "bullet hell". Very early in the game, there's WAY too many bombardments of those green creatures from the rear even before decent powerups were made available. The game is great, but there's nothing new that's noticible and distinct from the first besides difficulty. There's the use of background enemies, but a glitch makes it possible for them to block your shots from the background.
My thoughts
Now, Before i say anything im going to say this is MY OPINION im not saying its fact so no flaming me and stop flaming others for saying its bad, its just there opinion that is what review's are for so stop being imature punks.
NOW I thought the game was alright, Had alot of work to be done on it, but the idea is good and the system is great. Not much different from your first work so that is a problume aswell. What I personaly think it needs is more powerups and perhaps helth pickups and more badguys, That way you get more challenge but the chance to stay alive for those that are not to good at this kind of game. Now before anyone goes bitching, I DID beat the game so dont say im just mad because i couldnt. Also differnt sound affects would be nice but not needed. The music was good for the game went perfect with the action, I also liked your way of adding in tactics to the game instead of just shoot and dodge for the boss fight. Also more weapon types and less bad guys from behind i would think, Though they do add for an interesting challeng to the game, it also makes it a little less fun to mess with the guys in front of you before you kill them and fun is what a game is all about. So all in all a great start and I look forword to seeing another perhaps with a few new twists to it. That is my 2 zenny on the game. Sorry for the long post but it is my thoughts after all.

just voted on the last one, so this game ain't as 'fresh'. I still like it and once again solid, other then it's the same game, no problems here, I especially enjoy the 'Slime monsters'. As far as the game being too hard...uh SIDE SCROLLERS ARE HARD! Damn it people, it's not that hard. On casual mode I continued once, and only cuz I was still figuring out the last boss.
