nice but not credible.
Tip; Allies improve the more you use them; make sure you use them as often as possible.
Tip: Shotguns. Use them.
Tip: Medikits. Always have one. However, dunno what is better between using a healthpack or letting the medics charge us for healing.
"lets make that legedary warrior (us) our commander!"
And then, we are a no-respect rookie with useless weapons, we have to RENT our stuff. That "secret team of whatever" is hopelessly stupid, they have a very good setup for failure.
Hey, she got TONS of experience killing these things all on her lonesome, she even killed "titanic monsters of doom" and razed a hive. Alone.
Yess.. good point; Lets not give her anything, send her alone in warzones whenever we can get away with it, and make her pay for everything.
Basicaly, its -almost- slavery.
The basic pistol with ulimited ammo is now useless; too weak, ennemies are too numerous for it to make a difference.
LMB autofire pistols! YESS! About time too!
Red critters deal damage as soon as they touch us.
Why show yellow missions when the red ones prevent us from doing anything else?
Why do i have to defend a arbitrary (the base) spot for a minute? Doesnt make sense since that spot doesnt have any purpose. I could just walk around and kill everything for an hour and it would not do a thing.
Had to find some "blue circle and lost marine" and defend it, but never found it in the first place, i didnt really care about a lost marine especially when about 200 critters jumped me within seconds, logically, he would be very, very dead way before then.
And timer runs out.. game over?! What?! Was that marine rigged with a nuke or something?
Managed to beat it on my next attempt, i basically stumbled on that marine by accident. (the minimap is useless) Had taken a full squad with me too.
Graphics have improved. Nice job.
Interface works well.
Actually, i dislike it simply because the story and setting doesnt make any sense in my view, but the game in itself is a good step up from the previous games.
You get XP when you use your stuff, you get better the more you use you tools, and keeping the same allies makes them stronger, wich is a nice game mechanic.
Equipemnt seems balanced, for what little i saw. SHotgun is now a good weapon; so many ennemies on screen the shotgun is actually the only decent option we got, for the weaker weapons..
Stats improve, but what are they based on? More kills = more xp? Or is it a fixed reward per mission? If its based on kills, we can theoricaly grind it.
I wish we could get XP with the basic pistol, so even at endgame it could be a decent backup.
