I have to agree with dude below and that was the first thought that hit me in the head - did they even HAD crossbows in stoneage lol???

And did they talk like smartmouth philosophers about economy, sentimentality or empathy at all.. ? btw lol its a SWAT kinda shit "Mission brief objective 1: deploy into the raft and eliminate the village leader" lol big time gap difference
so..

graphics - kinda lame
gameplay - limited somehow
story - also lame

I Suggest You Read This

I only gave this game five stars because it fell short in many aspect, but I can respect an honest attempt and potential. The artwork was good. I thought it added an element of mystery to the game. I assume this was your goal. However, without sound effects, the sense of mystery seemed "muted" (forgive the pun).

Also, there was no strategy to the kills. It seemed like all I had to do was mindlessly shoot as many people as I could, hide if needed, then kill the rest. Possibly add some boulders held up by sticks that I would have to shoot. Or maybe add routes for the guards, so I have to shoot when the others aren't looking.

Finally, I'm not sure what the point of the narrator was, but it became extremely annoying. Listening to his very monotonous voice drone on about the psychology of war was literally unbearable. I skipped most of the cut-scenes and more than likely missed a lot of the story. If you have a message you want to get across, then dedicate something to that message. Don't just carelessly throw it into a game and expect people to sit through it while they're waiting to play. Just a thought

Thank you for reading and I hope this helps with further submissions.

Swing and a miss..

This wasn't an enjoyable experience. Here's why:

-I'm pretty sure that, considering the stone age was so named for early man's utilization of basic hand tools crudely fashioned from stone, that no stone age man would have had access to a crossbow. Seeing as how virtually nothing about this seemed to have a stone age feel about it, it would have been an easy fix to just call it Jungle Assasin or African Assasin (I had the vibe I was in Africa).

-The text and voiceovers really undermined the advancement of the plot. They seemed to break up what little action there was and to be honest I started skipping them because I don't want to read for three hours or listen to Baron Von Boring because I already know every level consists of killing the guys with weapons.

-Some levels are too ambiguous about what you're doing. Killing some guys while knocking others out? All you're doing in clicking on them. Maybe if you put in the ability to switch between lethal darts and tranquilizer darts it would have made more sense, but then again, very little of this made any to begin with.

It seems like you have talent, you just need to refine your storytelling, always make sure that the elements in your games tie in togerther properly and go back and check and doublecheck your spelling, grammar and so forth. I agree with others that this really feels rushed. Rome wasn't built in a day my friend, just take your time and do your best.

wow

that was one anticlimatic ending..

easy

can u make a game woth more of a challenge
