Whether it was experimental or not does nothing to change the fact that it was by and large uninteresting and merely above average in the animation/art department at best. I reserve no qualms concerning the length, could've been shorter for all I care so long as it was good, but it wasn't.

i can understand a little bit of what you were trying to show.
alien is lost
alien has crashlanded
alien is hungry
alien sees other alien
1st alien feeds off of 2nd alien
???
2nd alien is floating and a glittering ord floats away
now, not to bring you down, but thats a decent story. its too bad that the general presentation could not fully capture it,
the art and animation......what art there was was great, but there was little, if any animation in this submission. the animation i saw was the eye blinking, the 2nd alien flying, and the shimmering crystal spinning. now, there are some flashes that can convey much with little, but this i am afraid is not one of them. you left out so much that it was still hard for me to figure out was going on, and the overview above was after 3 times watched.
the sound, was just the same mysterious and simple loop played over again, with different tones in different areas. it was not necessarily good either. it was so short and so out there that it didnt draw me in, and it didnt keep me interested. i only watched it again to make sure i thought i knew what had happened before reviewing.
dont get me wrong, its a great idea what you have. but, thats all this really is is an idea. you have the bread and the lettuce and a few condiments. now you need to add meat, onions and tomatoes, or more substance, and not so out there concepts. still, there is evidence of hard work, and what little there was it WAS good.

It's a crappy thing I quickly made to do something else than constantly working on one single project and drawing.
I just felt like pumping out something.
So, yeah. I don't see this as a highlight in my portfolio heh.
