Reviews for "Eridani RTS"

nice but fightvessels are uncontrolable

great game,
It just so frustrating that I cant order my fightships to fight accordingly,
every time I give the attack command they all go in a circle around the target before doing anything usefull. or first go to the post I clicked on earlier before performing the next commend.
Very frustrating to loose 15 ships to 4 ships for that matter.
it could also just be me but I doubt it.

great game though

Hmmm....

It's too repetitive.
I stopped after finishing three sectors.

It's not a very fast paced game which it needs to be. And sometimes it's just not hard enough.

Also, the droids sometimes don't listen to what you tell them to do...need to fix that!

Most of the other complaints, everyone else has touched on, so I won't go there either.

This has a lot of potential, so I don't want it to go to waste!!!
Good Luck and Work Hard!!!

It really is a nice try, but no.

Flash isn't really made for creating an RTS. There are obvious problems that cannot be helped, like AI, pathfinding, and movement. It has potential, but I don't really think Flash has gotten to the point where it can make a good RTS. Sorry man.

Background story vs. game play

The game was okay, a bit repetitive. Most of that has been said before.

I didn't get what the background story had to do with the game itself. Why do we have do conquer planets when approaching "New Earth", or why do we even have to fight? Of what relevance is the new planet's resemblance with Earth? I mean, the background story was intriguing, but it didn't explain our particular situation, why we had to fight and whom. These two seemed to be totally unconnected.

so i've played this game some, and it's really something different to see this in a flash game, because yes: this is a quality game. and then you play and it's all good and it's a really well developed set of buildings and ships and such... but then your ship flies right passed the thing you want it to attack, or flies right into a mine after you told it to turn left twice... and the planetary destroyer, of all things, just won't stop going straight at the enemy... even though it can shoot form a distance. that's really something. i get it, it must be hard to program a good ai, but comepared to the other elements of this game the AI is really below standard.
