Reviews for "Pencilmation #8"

It's well made :)

It's well made and the animation is smooth, not really funny or interesting though.

Okay, but didn't feel like a "Pencilmation."

You, of course, are the authority on defining what it means for something to be a "Pencilmation," but the real draw (lol) of the series for me has been the clever interaction between the artist and the artwork, which was barely present in this one. Unique and funny opportunities in that vein are perhaps finite, and so maybe the series will naturally have to evolve, but I thought this episode was in stark contrast to the others, and lacking in much of the charm that made all the previous ones so enjoyable. I'd like to see some artist/artwork interactions on a grander scale, but that might end up having a bit of overlap with the premise of Waverly Films' "Stickman Exodus" on Atom.

pretty good

i, like some, also don't like the hand. It kind of takes away the simplicity that was so fun about the animation. Call me immature, but I prefer the more violent pencilmations. Make some more of those!

Starting to slip.

It was average. To be honest this one didn't have the touch the other one's did. Mostly in the fact that in the others the interaction between character and pencil is quite a frequent thing and that is what makes this "pencilmation" but the only real interaction between pencil and character was the drawing of the glass dome. It just threw this one far off.

And another complaint but a smaller one is the inclusion of the hand. We always knew the pencil wasn't alive and had a creator behind it but the hand makes the creator feel to "there", if you will.

Overall: 7/10.

good

It was'nt too funnie but it was good animation
