Reviews for "Castle Quest"

Pretty good.

The controls are sorta weird, I didn't expect to attack with the one button. And the first level is way too easy.

Djugan responds:

I made the first level easy on purpose. I wanted players to be able to get used to the game, controls and talent trees before the difficulty picks up.

Good quaility, but not quite done

The glitch I encountered was in the second stage. After killing my first enemy, I found myself unable to move or defend myself. My character auto-attacked every time someone hit him, but since they were all ranged monsters, this didn't help much.

Otherwise, the game mechanics are smooth, the tech tree is good, and the interface, while complicated, is still intuitive. A good game made (currently) unplayable, but I look forward to seeing the rest of it.

Pretty good but there were a few bugs

The main one that bothers me is the "instant kill with a critical" skill doesn't work very well, even against the weak little pumpkin guys. Still, overall, pretty good. The whole character customization thing was awesome, I was pretty happy with the guy I got... other than the whole critical strike bug...

Got disappointed right before the end!

I thought that this game is really good, but it's short and without save function!
It has no real storyline but the skill trees are cool! I discovered a painful glitch right when facing the cook...I died the first time fighting him,and when I came to him once again I heard his growl and then I quickly wanted to distrubute my remaining skill points so clicked on the Character Screen and raised my vitality. But after closing this screen, the BOSS DIDN'T SHOW UP ANYMORE!!! Fix this pls!!!

Almosy good, but very flawed.

It was too easy to grind levels, you just had to go to a end of a level without a boss, and continue to attack. The enemies would walk into the attacks, and die, allowing effortless leveling up. Though the bosses were challenging enough that this didn't matter, the second boss seemed either glitched, or badly designed, as although I was pressed up against him, half my attacks were not registering. I first thought I had to jump to attack him, but then could hit him on foot, then thought maybe I could only attack him while he wasn't attacking, which doesn't make any sense at all. Its fine to make challenging bosses, but atleast have them make some ounce of sense, and not seem like they are cheating. I mean why the heck was the boss named Thunderbelly, when he used Fire attacks? Use common sense.
