I'm pretty sure if the ninja got to strike first without the samurai noticing, he would have just killed him in the first place though. A ninja never would have gone for the rice bowl with the first shuriken if he intended to kill the samurai... lol

Very good for you first attempt.
Here a few tips:
In Japanese society no on eats and walks, especially during the Middle Ages. Incredibly impolite and a samurai would never make that error.
To have your top-braid cut is a very serious offense, so it would have been nice to see the samurai get a little angry.
Besides my long winded speech, I enjoyed it. =)

this was good for a first animation but the ending was a bit disapointing and also not verry easy to understand, slow down the animation next time. also why did the nnja turn into a stick man once?
