Reviews for "The Factory!"

good idea but needs a bit more work

I liked the overall idea of the game but I found 2 problems (well, 3, but that's because I didn't read the controls guide). 1 was that if you quickly/accidentally move the mouse off the screen (to try to catch a falling piece) the game does not move the paddle to the edge of the screen, but rather it gets stuck somewhere in the middle. 2 was that if you barely catch a piece there is a big chance that it will fall through the paddle.

good concept, if not my bag of tea

I like it, but it get's old fast for me. Sorry :/

Since you can control the paddle with the mouse, it could be annoying because NG Player has a barrier that makes the paddle unmovable, I recommend you to switch the movement to arrow keys.

I never would have thought of division as fun..

Pretty interesting idea ya got here. I never would have thought that 4th grade division could be so fun xD

However, a couple problems..
1) A couple times, when the cogs hit the side of the paddle (not right on the edge, but close) the cog would just fall through anyways.
2) Sometimes when a cog hit the paddle it would divide it twice instead of once. Given this is more of a benefit, but it takes away from the gameplay.
3) Make the screen a bit bigger. Sometimes the cogs got a little too jumbled, which made me make a few too many mistakes xP
4) This game can become a bit slow. I made it to level 14 and I didnt have many problems (but I accidently missed a few cogs so I didnt get further). I would love to see a RIDICULOUS gameplay mode where 5 or more cogs are dropping all together (but if ya do that, make sure ya make the screen much bigger).

Also, market this game to elemetary schools so that kids can learn mental math and division, all while playing a videogame xD hahaha! It could be a big hit!

Anywho, very original and interesting idea. Work on those couple things, and this would be amazing :D

Stop Helping people!

Game took a while to get where I thought it should already be. I mean, in the first couple levels you just have 4 options, (2,3,5,7). You should have moved the no brain-er stuff out by level 2. And why on earth are they color coated? Are people seriously that ignorant that we need colors to help with simple math? Remove the color crutch for the mathematically impaired and try speeding up the difficulty. After that you might just have a 10 on your hands. Plus sides - the music didn't drive me insane, controls were simple. Good concept!
