Breathtaking

I... just don't know what to say right now. It was so hurtingly clear on it's message I could cry.

On the technic side of it, the art was good enough, the color selection was perfect and needed no actual screen adjustment, the song choice was brilliant and the animations was smooth. The only little flaw, look at the right side of the screen and you'll see a clear line of each picture when the rest of the screen is black or darkened. Try not to overlook this kind of detail.

But that's just one only little thing. This was truly amazing. This portal needs more animators like you.

Please, keep on working. Newgrounds will thank you deeply.

I love the song, and the pictures make me realize the meaning.

I suggest you guys have a look at the version by Aaron, it's also really good. They're a french band who sing both in french and english.

Anyways. Fuck racism. Fuck war and fuck all of the stupid people who promote it. The only war I'd promote is one to abolish humanity completely and finally leave earth alone + peaceful.

a fine piece of work

Nice choice of music, graphics, transitions. I would have staggered the lyrics, as I found myself often reading ahead of the song. I didn't adjust my monitor, I feel that's your job :)

I could have changed the lyrics (when and how they appear that is), but I wanted people to focus on the picture instead of the text. Besides that, most illustrations actually only show one of the two lines.
Someone mentioned the thing about the monitor adjustment before. It is all due to the fact that I use a laptop, and it makes a huge difference how much your screen is tilted (open/closed lid) I didn't want you to change your setting or anything, Guess I wasn't clear on that.

if you want the song, I suggest you buy a good compilation of Nina Simone, she's a great artist. The song was originally recorded on the album Pastel Blues.
