Dead Dead Boring Soz

Sorry dude but pseudohippie8's right this game is so flawed.

But i'll give you four stars for the graphics dude and gui.

I was bored, immensely

The game literally put me to sleep. The music was too soothing for a war theme game and the minions that I controlled went their own ways, which pissed me off. The accerelator button also didn't help.
In short game was boring...

This game is well conceived, poorly executed

I was having a decent time. At first.

I think it was the 4th level in the campaign that things became bullshit. The enemy units are either too strong or they are too easy for the enemy base to purchase. If the units are balanced, then the AI system is not. In RTS games like warcraft and starcraft, the advantage the human has is better decisionmaking than the computer. While they are better at controlling many units, this game rules out that ability. There's virtually no thinking involved in this game. You pretty much just spawn what you can and try different combinations of units, none of which work.

It's just frustrating and really sucks any kind of fun out of the game.

"go to enemy base"=bull shit

if you want the spiders to just walk around and do shit, don't let us command them...and the fact that you have to click on each is just pointless...this could have been great, but there are alot of flaws that just bring this game down
waaay down

Why can't I just play it sped up?

It took me an hour to play one level on this game. I really can not comprehend why it would cost you psi- points to speed up the game play. Most games incorporate that as an option for players to use once they are comfortable playing at a faster speed. It doesn't give you any real in-game benefit, so why does it cost me something to play an incredibly slow game at a more tolerable pace?

Also, if I sit through all of the levels, will I eventually be able to create more than three types of spiders, or will I continue to top out my evolution points before getting a decent selection to choose from? I guess I'll never know.

What I can see of the graphics is decent. As mentioned by someone else, though, the background matches the spiders pretty closely.
