Reviews for "Aqua Turret"

Good game overall

At first it's too easy, then it gets pretty much impossible with very steep difficulty curves at the incremented levels(5,10,15,20). Maybe it'd help to put different difficulty settings? Also, I died at level 22 with like 8 hearts. Maybe it would be better if they auto repaired once you hit 0 health, or better yet, maybe it'd be better to just get some sort of upgrade that autorepairs you as you fire. The overheating thing was a little annoying, not because it happened, but more because you couldn't upgrade it to lower the time it happened. Also, I noticed there was an ammobar for the secondary weapons. Please make sure that theres a reload button in a sequel so I don't have to fire at nothing, sacrificing accuracy, to just reload.

Pretty solid overall, but it just needs to be tweaked slightly before it can be great.

Simple but good

While the design of the game may have been simple, this was still pretty fun to play.

Good game

I really enjoyed the game. The only downfalls were that repair costs were really high (I always had enough at the end of every level though) and the endgame weapons weren't really that great. Maybe adding a different kind of weapon for the main cannon. It was just an upgraded version of the first cannon you get. And the heat seeking missiles for the secondary weapon were easily the best weapon in the game. Maybe make them last. The lasers were only good for taking out aircraft carriers. Otherwise the beams were so far apart that you could usually only hit a ship with one beam at a time. Maybe if you made the secondary cannons cross where the mouse is on the screen then the secondary weapons would be a lot better. Good game.

ah.... nice

decent game overall but it definitely needs some more music cuz the same thing over and over gets old. idk what level i was on but it was at least 12 or 13 and i wasnt seeing any new enemies besides the subs and the aircraft carriers but maybe i wasnt recognizing the differences between some of em or something.

It's cool, but it needs a few tweaks.

It's a cool game, cool music, nicely put together. I can't ttelll if it's a Survival/Defence game or an Accuracy/Shooter game. It has elements of both, and the conflict with each other. Either way, it needs a few things.

1. Make the secondary weapon closer together. I can shoot and have the shots got on either side of an enemy. As the game monitors accuracy, this needs to be changed.

2. Gun heat? Ammo? Whatever makes the guns go red and stop shooting needs to be changed. Make the gun heat/reload upgradable or take it out altogether. If it's a Defence game, then I need to shoot faster than that. I'd shoot my big gun and miss, or I'd have 2 ships to shoot at. But I cant shoot again right away. As for the small guns, they go red just over what it takes to destroy one small boat. If there's two boats, or if you miss, you're red and stuck as he crashes into you. Plus, the side gauge doesn't go back up when you're not shooting. If it's an ammo gauge, it could be going up when not firing.

3. Give us full range. Don't put a range on the guns. It's too short by any means. I want to shoot that boat that just came into the screen.

4. HELP! Repair and Upgrades needs help. Make the repair available in increments. If I don't have enough money to repair ALL the damage, I can't get ANY repair at all. I chose to upgrade my turret HP on the first few levels instead of repairing damage. Now, I have 4000 HP, 3000 damage, 2000 money, and I can't do a thing! If I could buy 100, 250, 500 points of health at a time, I could be repaired over several levels, if necessary. Right now, I'm stuck.

5. And could you take out the 'Turret Upgraded' windows? I upgrade my gun several times per session, and they get annoying when you have to click OK 9 times per shopping trip. I can see my turret HP go up, so I know it's done. A window isn't needed.
