chunkycheese12 responds:

on the if touchingGround bit, did you put _y--? If its not there, I think that usually happens.

Great, but plz help!

Hey dude its a great tut but i did everything you said and looked over it like 30 times and my guy keeps falling through the floor!! Pleas help

WOW THATS UNCANNY!

these are the exact sprites im using XD thats just halarious, I tried several others on... well something im not allowed to even mention :P starts with an s and ends with an ite, I tried some on other (insert "special word" here) and they always had a small bug that made it completely not work... im about to start this one and I'll let you know.... you also may want to mention for the player movie clip, make sure the registration is down and for the ground the registration is up, or else the character will be inside the ground unless its really really thin. and on the code for the jumping, its not selectable, so those of us who understand a little bit of what were doing, and just need a perfected code, will have to type (ewww) omg this! this here! onClipEvent (keyUp) {
gotoAndStop(1);
} I have been trying forever to find a way to get this code, never thought that this way would work! and for those who complained he wasnt specific enough... well theres no need to be, actually most of the time almost all the coding can be on a single movie clip. also once the door is open, it still blocks you :P and on the vcam, whats up with the copyrights?

Thanks a lot!!

a very good tutorial.
