Reviews for "Cursor Quest"

Partial Agreement

I partially agree with Dragonfire187. I did notice in a few spots that my cursor would get hit even when I didn't actually touch anything with the tip. First noticed on the mountain when I'd be squeezing between clouds. Usually on the ends of each cloud is where it would happen. May be of interest to you.

Otherwise, very cute game. The beginning scene kind of reminded me of getting ready to play some Mario game but with cursors. lol. Awesome. I liked having to dodge things that were falling from the sky. Like a mouse-run danmaku or something. That could be interesting... 4/5, 7/10.

yay impossible boss!

EVERY time the 3rd boss throws his rocks, you get hurt. you CAN'T dodge it.

Pretty good, but glitchy

I like the game but it has one really annoying glitch. Sometimes when I'm just close to an obstical (not touching it) I still get damaged. This is annoying especially on the water level because theres so many obsicals it's impossible not to get close to them so I loose almost all my lives on that level, then die on the boss because that place is packed with obsticals to. My idea would be to fix it so you don't get damage just by being close, and shrink the courser a bit because in some parts your to big to avoid anything.

Good Game

The game is really good. It's a little hard if you're not used to using the mouse by itself in games.

Thanks, maybe if I make a sequel there could be keyboard controls too.

Awesome, but glitchy.

Really fun and unique game, but with some glitches. For example, when I get hit by something. The cursor starts blinking. I'm guessing this means I'm invincible for a few seconds, but if I get hit again while I'm "invincible", I still lose health. This problem is what prevented me from beating some levels.

I hope you fix this problem, because it really takes away from an otherwise excellently-made game.

blue-mess responds:

Well, the invincibility is more like for 1 second. I'm not quite sure what you mean - You're meant to lose 1 block of health if you get hit by something. Were you just watching it fade away? Hmm. Still, I'll see what I can do.
Anyway, thanks very much for the review ^^
