I like the consept and the design alot but after a couple of levels it gets boring
great up until ur broke boss
Played the second and third one just fine but trying to play your first one here is just sad. For someone who is doing well here I'm surpised you never decided to come back and fix what you did wrong. Looking over the other reviews I see others agree...
The problem is with you combo timing, at least for me. I was able to block the attack long enough to start my own combo once he stopped, but on the third hit, where your character takes a nice...long...backswing...he starts swinging again. Gets to the point were the room shrinks to much that if you fuck up once, well...you die.
It would be nice if you could fix this...tried for about an hour here and I wanted to see how the story line continued...but there is no point. This is a simple game, it should not be this hard to do, and its not the gamers fault, but yours :/.
Got a good thing going here, and when you come out {if} with the 4th game, others who haven't played yet will do what i do and start from the begining.
Just fix the swing so we can finish the 1,2,3 hit combo to stun the bastard ;)

and click forward to get to the next level.. awesome uh? honestly.. i loved the animations and whole story /art part. The game itself has got massive bugs and almost impossible levels.. the last boss was rather more easy than the immortal one which is the first T_T
The stage 6 boss ruins the game completely. It's completely invincible when it uses its default attack. It can only be harmed when it decides to use a different attack. Its invincible attack drives you towards a wall of spikes that instantly kill you. You are not able to position yourself so that you are not driven towards the spikes. Your heavy attack does not work against this boss for no reason. There is nothing that your eagle can do. The boss only registers damage as being done to it when it enters its "recovery phase". It will only enter its recovery phase if you hit it with the slowest part of your basic combo. It almost always just does its invincible attack before it lands. You can do an uppercut to knock it out of any attack it does and push it back slightly, but it seems to store frames on its invincible attack so that it can bring it out quickly the instant you stop uppercutting it. Actually beating the thing requires more exploit than skill.
At least the sequels are better.
