Searching for enemy-> worst thing in this game :(
Ok, I got 40 k gold now, and I've been fighting like a half hour against of one ship, or actually two, but first one I killed in no time. But searching for enemy's in low moving ship from 400x400m map whitout any help... It's destroy every game, in spite of how good the game is otherwise :(
Pretty Good, but needs some work
Really good game, but you need to do something about the battles. Especially when you don't have any sails, Took me over 20 min to find the last ship with that. Plus the player chain shot never destroys their sails..... Need to add some indicator as to where the enemy is on that map. Plus you need to make it a bit easier to gain money in the game. It takes forever starting off to make anything.

This is almost an awesome game. I just have some suggestions.
When you capture a town, you should get compensated with men, weapons, and money. People do not raid towns without taking anything, realistically. There is just no incentive for capturing towns. Also, when you capture a town, that town should be "yours" in the since that you get a discount on anything you want to buy. Think about it. If some pirate came into your town and kicked your ass, you would probably give him a discount so he doesnt do it again.
Don't listen to these jaggoffs about poor graphics either. I like this type of graphics. Fucking idiots dont know that they are supposed to look like that.
Also, creating more upgrades than just cannons would make this game so much better. Upgradeable games are my favorite. If you took my advice on all this, I would play this game all day, no joke.

i gave it 4/5 cos it is awsome, you dohave to get towns and i love it but i thought that when you go into battle-mode and you cant find a ship you spend 10 minits looking for it. or is that just me? if you could buy a crows nest from a shipyard and get a minimap for battle mode it (hint-hint) i would have given this top marks.
