Meh...
Very similar to Sid Myer's Pirates! I like the control system alot, though I'm not digging the cloud coverage... Over all, a decent game...

Fun but . . .
I would take out the enemy ship (On the right side where it says Black Beard) but it would say that I lost.

hey its a great game pal... its just that wen I battle other ships sometimes they just disappear.. O_O

i really liked this game but my ship would get stuck sometimes. Like in New Orleans. after I returned to sea, my ship couldn't move forward. It just moved in place. What's up with that???

Now where have i seen this before?
You fight to get money.. to buy new ammo.. so you can fight more.. to buy crew and guns to takeover a town - and then you have to fight again.
I for one feel like im playing the "Ghostbusters" on NES.... there is no need to say more than that.
The concept is pretty ok thou, and i for one am still entertained, thou its really annoying shooting all ships to earn money for the "takeover towns"-part.
Thank god for the "Save" and "Continue" button.. i have used that like a thousand times, because you die a lot in the beginning.
I miss a reward for taking over towns and i miss a radar in "battle-mode".
(and yes i know the game takes place in the 17th century.. but still, not being able to see your enemy is really frustrating.)
It's still a good game, dont get me wrong. And i intend to play it untill i have take all towns ^^
