Difficult and ugly, but strangely enjoyable.
First, a VERY difficult game. Battle map needs some kind of radar and a centralising camera. Town walkabout could easily have been a click and select. Despite this the game is engaging and although it made me punch my computer, I played many times.
Nice but hard
A nice feeling game - just a problem with there seeming to be no incremental difficulty to it.
It just seems really hard from the start. You can't afford a bigger ship and can only just about afford a full crew and enough ammo for a single fight.
It's too hard too soon.
too many things make me hate this game
1) scroll in battle is plain stupid
2) screens in towns have no close button
3) chain shot is useless for me but great for the enemy
4) lose everything when attacked by two mean pirate ships
5) what is the point of a contract?
good game
good game but a little bored after a while because it is the same patterns of attacks and the music need to be improve alittle
