Gets better and better with time

My frustration at getting owned as an archer was tantamount.
I was even yelling at my PC. But I persisted - restarted and built up my attributes in a different manner.
Strength and speed of course.
Charisma is fun too. Love when the crowd goes berserk.
Finally started to crank out the victories.
Very very challenging gameplay.
I will certainly try all characters. Briefly I tried the mage.
Sunk some serious time in to the archer.
I really felt that the archer was getting owned too easily. His class should be far more speedy and nimble than anyone else on the field - but noo. And could there be more archers nailing me?
Both my hands are killing me from tensing! Sign of a great game.
Clicking down to get those potions is a real pain.
Accidentally right clicking and a new flash window opening up - yikes!
Maybe after level ten another store could pop open?
Get the cross bow asap. Like the magnum 44, slow but steady rules.
Your efforts are to be praised and your accomplishment is one of my favourite games!

Thank you very much... especially for the shop thing... instead of adding new items (which would be hard since the space is limited) a totally new shop on higher levels is definitely easy to implement!!!
I don't know why I did not think about it myself, nor why it hasn't come out before.

Very good job

I thought this is perhaps one of the funnest game to play on newgrounds. I like the leveling system, the gold evetually becomes nearly worthless after you buy everything, or so I thought. What I did not like is how opponents came from the spaces without me beign ready for them. The surpise of it bothered me. If I could see through my chracters eyes I would see them. But excellent job.

Do you mean when the enemies exit from the gates? Or have you found a bug where they "appear" in the middle of the arena?
In the second case I'll investigate.
In the first case: what do you say about adding an animation or something to the gate from which the enemy is about to spawn? Would it suffice?

it was good

i thought this game was pretty good except u could make the health go slower but that reason was probably because i wasn't using my shield and u should also put more character avatars in the game and more classes.you should make another game

More avatars and some more classes are a good thing... but at this point I think they'll be inserted in a new game... to hard to put them in this one... since another game is certainly an option I'm considering!

stuff is 2 hard to pick up and ur heath goes down way to fast look work on it some more

the sheild button is ok but u need more

I'm not sure i understand what you say about "stuff hard to pick up". Maybe you've found some little bug? what browser do you use? which flash plugin version?
As for the health, I don't think it goes down too fast... simply try to flee if you have a ranged character, or raise the shield if you are melee... use practice mode to master the controls!
Soon I'll post some videos on how to get past the first 2 or 3 levels without difficulty.
