Great game!
I liked this game a lot, although I have one little thing so far that ticks me off.
On missions where you have to move to an arrow to finish, you can get killed after you get there.
That turned me off a bit (because I died unnecessarily.. I could have used the health, but I was within range of the arrow so I just figured I would finish, and now I don't feel like redoing the level, because I just finished it.
I dunno, just one glitch really.. maybe you should look into that.
Regardless, this is front-page material. Good work.
absolutely brilliant
I love everything about this game, the graphics, the style, the RPG aspect, the fighting, the items, etc. In my opinion this is one of the best games at newgrounds of all time. Excellent! :)
Quite Fun
This game is quite fun, though there is a tendency for the "use health over and over again and win via counter-attacks" strategy to be overly effective. Further, there is a tendency for end-level to provide sufficient funds as to make choosing which stuff to buy trivial, so long as one ensures full heath at level's end. Also, trying to save the game causes it to crash on my system. Despite these issues, I'd say that overall, this is a well-polished and enjoyable game.
Great Game
Brings me back to the days of FF: Tactics. Pretty solid gameplay, loved the auto-counter feature, made combat much more strategic. Water and rock spells were neat, the ability to change classes added a new twist. The music was mediocre, then again you could turn it off and play personal music in the background, no big change there compared to any games. (at least it had an off feature :P) A lot of replay value. The only thing i would have liked to see was knowing what you're up against before you enter a mission so you could stock up accordingly instead of having to lose a tough round and change what you bought. All in all though, great submission.
