feels... imba?
ok..
The Graphics were fitting. +2
Sound was nice, especially with those fitting accents. +3
Well, the gameplay...
It definately is a nice idea, and might end up fun, however, it feels imba. I dont know if it is, but it just feels that way.
The first level was a piece of cake. You just stand near that ammobox, run up and down a little and shoot everything by staying out of range. Sometimes you have to run out to nade a tank-thingie, but thats it. This almost feels a bit boring.
After that, the second level strikes.
It begins like the first level, but then, those guys with 2 bars appear. BOOM. Dead. Wtf-Signs in my eyes. Dead? He didnt even shoot me, didnt he?
Ok, respawned, tried staying out of range, failed, respawned, killed 1.
After that, a huge blob of tanks, nademan, riflemans and those 2-bar-guys appeared and I had no chance of doing anything. I just died whereever I moved.
i had everything maxed at that time, but those guys just died and killed nothing. nothing, nada, nichts, no enemy died from them. Great.
Having no idea what to do about that (except for moving on tiny lines) I quit.
So, summarizing:
- nice idea
- Support guys useless
- extreme step of difficulty after level 1
- helplessness
This results in a +1 for gameplay.
So, give us a better chance to deal with high-range units. Maybe allow us to shoot in a little arc or something like that. Just dying without a chance sucks bad.
(Being doomed like that that soon didnt motivate me enough to bother searching for glitches)
