Melodramatic

Simply exaggerated, with excess of tears and the wrong visual style. The facial expressions are embarrassingly artificial, and the way the story progresses is simply dumb. The bum giving the kid money was simply ridiculous, the climax of this movie's efforts to bring a tear to the viewer's eyes, at which it fails miserably. It was also the point I had to stop watching, not only for boredom but because I can't stand when a movie tries so hard to make the viewer cry or at least feel touched. I didn't.

Sorry, but you need to balance the drama much better than this.

Skillfully made, but not very creative

The music was nice, and the animation was well done, but I don't think this piece deserves a 9.8 score. Because it's sad, people seem to assume it's deep, but this flash is about as deep as stickfight. It's one dimensional- stickfight is chest-thumping, and this is just sad for the sake of being sad.

Art is only pain when the pain is art. 3 stars.

You should be really proud of yourself for creating something like this. Excellent concept and perfectly excecuted. This should be up there as number one.
