Love it! Advice ahoy
:D You make my game loving mind very happy sir. Arrrr...
I really love the infernal difficulty level. I clicked it right away because all games here are usually wayyyyy too easy. I now manage to get to.... I think 45 people. But after that, usually something happens so that my game crashes. So not likeable.
Which ques me to bitch about the flaws in your game! For me, these are just some technical things. But very annoying ones. I'll give some alternatives that might interest and help you.
The control layout brings annoying problems. You use your left hand to quickly switch between the aswd and the 1-9 buttons. That's fine, but the result for me is that most of the potions I have are spent on me accidentally pushing the q or e button in the fray of button pushing. Also, since I use a laptop... notice how close the F5 button is to the Fire Wall attack. -_-
Here's an alternative, I hope you like it: in the game, you don't use your pinky or your thumb, which for a frantic managing game is not good. Why not allow the player to set the buttons with which to active a spell themselves? I would for example put ice ball on shift and fire ball on space, and the others nearby.
Next up is graphic intensity. Yesterdy I got around 40 as I mentionned but then due to overload the game crashed. This problem can easily be lightened with a quality switch like most games have. (I prefer it to be in-game as well, so that you can switch when things get hot.)
About the different weapons in the game. I use the ice ball on level 1 because if you hit a frozen opponent with a fireball, the damage is amplified to such an amount that with a full-level fireball, you get a one-shot-kill for every opponent I faced. Was this your intention or is it a bug?
hehe, and I suck at using the bowmen... they annoy me because I spend so much money on them and then they just go on and die on me. They are lousy fighters, but very good for distracting the beasties. ^^ ...just have to remember to heal them.
Last but not least, once I reached 60, I will have no more reason to play (...unless you have a reward hidden...) because the waves of each night are repetitive and identical. The amount just increases each time. You could give enemy-themes to each night, but I personally love unlocking options like: finish infernal, get the mystic nymf of tiny love love doom mode, which is harder and requires a different appraoch.
If you fix the controls and quality, make my overall an 8. With more brilliant modes to play with, 9! I gave you not-so-brilliant grades because judging from this game, you are awesome and I want to tie you down humiliatingly and force you with a rusty spoon to rise to the top! *Faving the author
I love my moonwalking wizard.
