Fun!
This was pretty fun, and it was kind of reminiscent of Chrono Trigger, which was one of my most favorite RPGs of all time.
However, after the fight with the slug I was going to the save point and the whole flash went white. Then my computer locked up and I had to restart. I'm assuming the bug happened when it was trying to go into a random battle sequence and it hit an infinite loop.
Hmm don't know what happened there :( I hope it won't discourage you from playing it again.

I liked the first game and this one seems nice aswell although the sound's quite repetitive, where can I find the key though? I seemt o be overlooking it which is quite anoying.
The key is located in the area with the three houses (in the west side of town). It is between the red and the green house, near a barrel. You can only get it at night, and it looks like a sparkle in the snow.

great improvement over the first installment of this series. very good implementation of new features, such as save points and the more versatile character menu. graphics still very good and overall gameplay is shaping up quite nicely. needs some more balance, but i'm sure that's bound to tweaked in future chapters.

Better than the last one...If for no other reason than you weren't having ot ration everything for fear of running out...Some of the animations for the skills were kind of amusing, too...(Cleaning glasses to increase effectiveness in combat...Heh, heh...) Good work, waiting for 3...

the graphics are great. should have made the train noisier.
the puzzles are very easy. the cloaked guy( i'm not sure if he's the last boss0 is so tough. i'm too lazy to try and beat him. anyways 8/10 from me
