hey

I like the game and all man but I am stuck at the beginning I entered the mine and looked at almost everything I found the cabin but don't know how to enter it I looked at the window since it was broken and thought through there and read that the front is nailed what do I do? it's 3:30 am that could be the reason am lost... I got to get the grease anyhelp will be greatful thank you... n sorry to say but the key was easy as could be this thing is difficult since didn't get the cash at beginning if that's what needed... lol thanks also the worm helps to kill the bosses... ya that's right found that lil cheat :P so will be easy for me

SnailsAnimation responds:

Hi! The cabin isn't the abandoned house :) The cabin is the place where you entered the mine from. Look carefully and in there and you will find the grease.
Have fun!

Solid RPG

This is a solid RPG with decent puzzles, great animation, and quality sound. I have been impressed with both chapters of the series so far.
It would be nice to control all menu options with the keyboard and not have to use the mouse at all. It would make the trivial battles go more quickly.

nice...

I like this kind of games! to awesome!

Temporary Awesome

This game was chugging along quite happily until I reached the dumbass puzzle section on the train. Ten minutes of boring button pressing and trial-and error bullcrap, and then I am hurled into a boss-fight with NO Save Point. Seriously, are you still living in 1983? Please don't mar your future effort with this kind of nonsense.

Good presentation, balanced poorly

The graphics, animation, all of that was very fluid and well done, kudos for the art. The polishing the eyeglasses for Awareness was a nice touch, it made me smile.

But apologies for my bluntness here -- the bosses were an exercise in utter tedium. Basically you'd just burn all of your boost + double slash, then proceed to alternately spam heal yourself and spam a regular attack on the bad guy. I mean, they were balanced to about as long as you could reasonably last, and thus weren't that DIFFICULT. But god, they were just long as hell.

And given particular bosses like the giant worm at the silo, or the mimic, who spend the vast majority of their turns atacking for 0-1 damage while you mindlessly spam your attack button and heal once or twice when they finally decide to attack...that's just tedious.
