Wow, that was just like the poem! Thank you for not ruining one of my favorite works, but I have one problem the Inferno is not it's but part of a larger work (the divine comedy, comedy ment all the main Characters survived to the end). Also the divine comedy is a poem not a novel. Any way I'm glad you didn't ruin this for me, and I see you do welll with the classic stuff so you might want to consider the following (All favorites, and old fictions)
Tale of Gengi
Beowulf
Canterbury tales
the Iliad
Odyssey

At least finish Inferno...
This is always going to be one of, if not, my favorite peoms/stories of all time!
I absolutely love the book and fully encourage you to continue making the series. If you don't do all three parts then at least try to do all of Inferno.
I'm putting you under my favorite just in case. If you do decide to finish this I do NOT want to miss a single one.

Interesting
It was an unusual interpritation, but good. You kinda modernized the dialogue though. Ive read the Inferno three times and that was pretty accurate. All in all, looking forword to a sequal.
