I definitely recognized it, it's one of my favorites! The hammer brothers battle theme from Super Mario 3, right? Even though i noticed "NES" and "good song" in your introduction, it never occurred to me... haha. I'm not sure i liked the mix much, but the artist definitely put effort and love into it. Some parts of the animation were awesomely synchronized with the sound in the beginning, but i didn't notice as much later.

I enjoyed this. It wasnt what I was expecting from one of your entries, but it was deffinitly worth watching/listening to. I'd be curious to hear how the creation of this differed for you from your other work

Not every piece has to be ambitious to work, although I won't say this not ambitious. It's very difficult to envision and make a music video to a song such as this without it tying directly to the video game in question. However, there have been pieces if yours in the past that appeared to be more complicated in construction and character models. The simplistic style works, though, because of one thing -- timing. By having a mastery of this element, this changes a Flash that could easily be above average into something that's superb.
My only problem with it was that I expected more of a Hammer Bros. feel to the action, although I do see where the cone is a nod to the hammers they throw. Other than this, it's well done.

Another great job!!
As always you did a very cool flash, I liked the "chibi style", reminded me of thing battle, the preloader made me laugh too!
The background was neat, the song was really catchy and fitted the animation very well (or is it the other way around??), also it had a happy ending, that rocks.
