Great game but the boss is too hard.

I didn't beat the game because I got bored trying to level up enough to beat the final boss. Also the monsters crit too often and too strong, 2X should be the max. They seem to crit up to 4X. You either need to add a lot of levels so the character is strong enough to beat the boss or weaken the boss. You might also want to make it so Esc toggles the menu on and off instead of having a button. There is also no indication as to which weapon you are using. They all look the same. All that said you did a great job. One more thing, you might want to give the enemies a health meter so players can know how close they are to victory. I know I listed a lot of problems but I realy liked the game and I hope you make more.

Fun game but too difficult

Nice graphics, easy controls and good sound - this game is already better than the vast majority. However the limited number of bad guys, the random rewards for killing enemies and the sheer amount of time it takes to level up your character high enough to kill the father keeps this game from receiving at 10. I needed to raise my level to 8 and my power, vitality and magic to 17 to beat the guy. This took several hours and I was getting pretty bored.

However it is still a very good game. Good job!

I love this.

Good job, man. I love the artwork, and the game is very functional. I've been working an rpg game very similar to this myself and have found it to be quite a daunting task. Keep up the good work, and congratulations on a great game!

not that bad

some things could have been better.. like the leveling up for example =/
it goes just too slow at higher levels. and you have no alternative then invest HOURS of grinding against the same enemies to get enough stats to kill the final boss... pretty weird since i beated all act bosses before him in less then 3 blows, and being lvl 5 or less.

looking forward to see if there is a sequence (haven't passed final boss yet...)

one more question... why does his father wonna kill him?:p

pretty fun game overall though:)
