Reviews for "Bender In Real Steel Life"

how big is he

Silverbullit responds:

Hi naro3000,
Including the antenna Bender stands a mighty 198cm tall,
without antenna he is 184cm tall.
I thought a lot about the length and given the average global lenght of men (172,2cm) you meet his eyes at a comfy level.
Thanks for posting mate :)

BENDER BENDER BENDER! BENDER BENDER BENDER! BENDER BENDER BENDER!
I would buy one of these if i could

Silverbullit responds:

Haha Ccstewy9000,
beleive me I would build one for each and everyone who likes him if I could.
Bender is yelling from my livingroom and giving you two thumbs up!
Also says keep that chant up ;)

HO...LY...SHIT!
Ok how much for the Bender?

Silverbullit responds:

Ha ha, yes he shits holy bricks ;)
Seriously mate, hes not even finished yet, you are way to kind!
I really appreciate your awesome comment hbkhhhrey619 :)

I love this sculpture. Bender was always my favorite Futurama character, and I think everyone can agree this is a great tribute to him! When did you start creating this?

Silverbullit responds:

Hi FancyMcFancyMan,
and thank you for the wonderful praise. That makes Bender our common favorite character, great minds think alike isnt that what they say? :) I am really overwhelmed by all the kindness and support. And I am very very happy you like my interpretation. About the worktime it of course took some time for a handicapped noob without a clue such as myself to piece him together. I could not work full time on him as some time went in to search for material at the junkyards and such, besides my handicapped back did knock me flat out on me ass immobilizing me some days. But I did do intensive work over a period of say pherhaps 3 months. (I did not know what I was doing in any way whatsoever, just plain facts) So pro artists as you mates here would most certainly do both a much better job of him but at a fraction of the time it took me. And he is not really finished yet like I mentioned in the commentary, I lack round hollow metal balls to mount his hands/hand&arm mechanisms. Really discovering the competition Jazza is holding gave me inspiration to mount him together and finish some details to this. (Again greatful for this awesome site and all its awesome members.) I am afraid I have a bit of a migrain today and my extra slow thoughts cant exactly place in time when I ventured in to the Bender project. But I will try to find some note or receipt or something and get back on the date for you FancyMcFancyMan if it is o.k.? Thanks again for your reply that he is a great tribute and the great comment FancyMcFancyMan :)

Bad.

Silverbullit responds:

Hi LuigiBoy890 and thanks for the candor, and I honestly appreciate the input.
I am sorry that my interpretation of Bender was a downright dissappointment to you. But it makes me very curious and it would be very kind of you if you would be kind and share what about Bender you don't like so I might have something to go on the next time I do a metal sculpture. And I really do understand that seing a work made out of recycled crap from the junkyard made by a total noob without a clue might deserve your shared score. But I want to do better so I would very much appreciate your thoughts. Maybe I can do a little better next time with it. :) Thank you for the honest feedback, I appreciate your comment LuigiBoy890.
