Great Game!

There's a bug (At least, I think it is) that makes this game too easy.

After you get to 30 fame and talk to the Landlord in the apartment,
Exit the building, Save your game, Exit the game, Load your save file, and then you can talk to the landlord and get 1000 Credits all over again.

Using this method, I got all the best equipments in about... 10 minutes?

Otherwise, great concept.

Ok, fixed the quest bug and resubmitted, but will have to wait for vetting by NG.
Thanks!

Overall it was alright, but needed more enemies.

Overall it was alright, but it needed more enemies, or to be more precise, a greater range of enemies. It was far too easy as well, I had over 1000 hp greater than the final boss, and that was without any real effort on my part. At the same time however the concept of the game is good and so I rated it a 9 out of 10. Good job on the creation and execution of the game, and I hope to see your completed game in July 2006 as you have predicted. Oh yes, and you may also wish to add more weapon and armor types to the game, or lower the amount of money you recieve for defeating enemies, it was a bit easy to get the best of the best.

hmm

not bad but it gets far too repetitive... nice graphics lacking in story.. sound left to be desired and gameplay was boring but still a better game than most... ending could have been better :/

Very Good Game

It is nice to see a flash 3D game that obviously has taken a lot of time and effort. This is also a very unique style of game, seeing as this is the first game like this I have ever seen developed in flash. The game play is good, but repetitive (I'm sure in the full version this will not be as big a problem) and the weapons I find are too easy to get. Also, before I even got all the secret weapons, I beat the game. Also, beating the enemies is too easy in my opinion. As others have said, Bane is too easy for all that trouble. You are better off going and training in the wasteland. But all in all, an exciting, action packed game that is sure to be a hit when the full version arrives. ^_^ 9/10 for this one!

Beam cannon! FIRE!!!

Yeah! With the pow-pow zwam-zapakow! Was is to easy? Hmmm, no, however I never lost a battle. But there were some nail biting moments where, if I missed the next shot, it woulda been all over. I liked how the first shop owner looked like Rei Ayanami from Evangelion. For the future games I would suggest making a bigger price gap between the 3rd and 4th ranged weapon (If you're keeping the battle system). Speaking of the combat system, I might suggest tweaking for added variety. Now, since mostly the game seemed more showey than strategic (Though there was some strategy involved) maybe you could have a finisher button that unlocks if the enemy is in a certain range of health, and the finisher changes based on... Hmmm, fame level I guess. Or maybe you could by new finishers based on fame, and if you used a finisher to smite your foes you get bonus fame from the fight! YEAH! Anyway, just an idea. Overall, I think that this game has all the basic elements needed for a Japanese style RPG and actually lacked something that improved it. Now while its unrealistic, never needing to heal your mech was GREAT! Don't change this aspect please! And since I seem to be out of space: Good Game!
