Short but nice.
The art is unique and very nice. The character was well presented and the story was made clear to the viewer right from the start.
The animation was great and the ending was great.

Some decent FBF there.. though I was expecting them both to
die in the final scene to give some sort of moral message..
Its a interesting twist that one survived and became king... simple as that.

hahaha you know I was going to have them both die. But it was passing 10 hours and i didnt want to work on it anymore so I had one die. I wanted the bad guy to win cause there just might be a sequal. Where there is a king there is an enemy

So... why are they saying this is like Mask?
To be honest I only see three similarities and they're all insignificant.
1] The leaf (pretty common sight)
2] They stare at eachother (woo... like that wasn't done before Mask)
3] It has two people fighting with swords (by golly I've never seen that anywheres else! and technically it was himself in Mask)
The most important point, however, is the fact that it's a freaking SKETCH. Good lord just calm down! It's good for what it is: practice! Thats how it should be judged as!
The only thing bad I have to say about this was that while it was nice how scenes were broken up with narration, it was too much of it. Try to make it more visual with backgrounds or a pre-fight scene of the king's funeral and crowns for the princes during that scene. Just an idea if you ever take it past sketch-mode...
Oh and yeah, I get how you do try to say that the good side doesn't always win. Crazies are in the lead just as much.
