Reviews for "HAMU"

decent effort but...

Graphics- Decent, but...they're just boxes anyways...
Style- Almost no originality... some decent designs but still...
Sound- Repeditive and annoying
Violence- none...
Interactivity- Pretty good, but could have used some upgrades for the paddle
Humor- None.

Overall...unoriginal...but still a decent effort, come up with something that's either less mind-numbingly boring or at least original gameplay.

To the previous review: "I found this one to be pretty challenging"?

What other breakout games did you play...ones with a 3 cm column and a 2 cm paddle with 1 block at the top? And maybe the ball was a seeker so it wouldnt miss? Honestly people...this game was not hard at all...I got fairly far with no deaths and then got bored...and wrote this review

Favorited It

This is a good game, I like the style and it remains true to the original breakout, while doing some things that make it a unique twist to the original. The downsides to it are lack of power-ups and the musical loop gets annoying after awhile with no option to mute the music. If you could mute the music, but leave the sound effects that would be a definite improvement in my mind. But that is not a big deal. The gameplay is great, and fun. Good work.

Pretty good

its cool and all but i think it needs some powerups such as slower ball or bigger paddle

good job though

I liked it.

I've played a good number of "breakout" style games, this one I found to be pretty challenging. Nice background music. Fairly good patterns. But what I think I like the most is the ball control on the paddle. It's not often I find a breakout game that I can choose subtle angles of attack with simply by varying how far off center the ball hits. Usually I have to try a risky move like hitting the ball on the very edge to control the angle. That gets difficult at high speeds. I really liked the control scheme on this game. It gives the player a chance to demonstrate their skill at aiming the ball rather than just the random bounce back I see on so many other games.

Good work,
Sage

Fix the text.

You say you worked hard on it. yet you put so little effort into making your submission actually look clean and refined. The least you can do as of now is go back and type in a more proper and legible way than using things such as "ur" and "u".

It was an ok game overall. But, it could use quite the polishing.
