Brilliant breakout game

No powerups? Easy to lose track of the ball? Couldn't really bring myself to care as, despite the game's (few) faults, in the utter chaos of flying bricks, invisible bricks, and moving indestructible bricks, this game is always fun to play.

Even in the moments when a combination of explosions, invisible bricks, and falling/moving bricks cause you to lose a ball, it feels like more of a "Damn . . . I want more!" than a "Stupid game, I'm never playing you again!" kind of frustration.

It's simple, slick, and fun. What more could you want?

Nice effects

Firstly i thought "not another breakout clone" but i did like the effects like the falling clear blocks. But there should be a toggle in game to change the quality

Very good game

I thought that this game was very good. It's true that this game is a Arkanoid clone and that it has no power-ups, but I've never seen Arkanoid done quite like this. The fact that this game has no power ups only adds to it's difficulty and amount of skill (and time) it takes to beat it. I had to play though it several times to get to the end. Very well done.

Some things though. First, as other people have pointed out, the brick explosions can easily make you loose track of where the ball is at times, so next time make the explosions fade a little more into the background. Second, if you could make a password function, it would be nice. It was a bit boring playing though the first 2 or 3 levels every time I died. Third, I noticed that when the ball comes down almost vertically and hits the side of one of the blocks that you cannot break, the ball bounces off at a weird angle. I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but if it is you might want to fix it.

Chaotic Fun but a little too easy

I really enjoyed playing this new take on a classic but I beat it on my first try and that was the end of my fun.

You added fun elements like the falling blocks, which were a bit challenging because they were visually distracting and they made the balls flight path unpredictible.

Despite the added challenge of the falling blocks, the invisible blocks and the moving unbreakable blocks, the game was still very easy because the BALL WAS TOO SLOW.

Also, I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't bounce the falling blocks (I noticed that I could bounce the fading fragments but not the solid chunks). If you made it so the dislodged blocks could be bounced until broken by the ball, it would add to the controlled chaos that makes the game fun.

This game has a lot of potential, but it's just too easy in it's current state.
